Artist of the Week: Radio Moscow

Radio Moscow is an American psychedelic rock band formed in 2003 by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Parker Griggs. They have this fantastic late 60s early 70s psych rock sound that seems inspired by Jimi Hendrix, Cream and Blue Cheer. They are godfathered by Dan Auerbach, frontman of The Black Keys, who helped them signing to Alive NaturalSound Records and also produced “Radio Moscow”, which was released in February 2007. Since then they have released three albums, “Brain Cycles” (2009), “The Great Escape of Leslie Magnafuzz” (2011) and  “3 & 3 Quarters” the previously unreleased debut album recorded in 2003. The album was entirely recorded by Parker Griggs, who played all the instruments, when he was only 17-18 years old.
