Artist of the Week: Flying Lotus

Flying Lotus (Steven Ellison) is this week highlight on Musikki. The American producer and composer mixes electronic music with pinches of other genres like jazz. This influence is probably a heritage from his family. Steven Allison is the great-nephew of Alice Coltrane. As a producer, FlyLo worked with names like Jóse James and Declaime. He is also known for his many collaborations like his remix of Radiohead’s “Reckoner” from the album “In Rainbows”.
