Artist of the Week: Efterklang

Efterklang is Artist of the Week

The Danish band Efterklang recently released Piramida.  The successor of the beautiful Magic Chairs is their fourth album, second through British independent label 4AD and first after Thomas Husmer’s departure. Although the core group is now solely composed by three members (Casper, Mads and Rasmus), the family grows when they’re on the road. Fellow musicians like Katinka Fogh Vindelev and the talented Broderick brothers (Peter and Heather) join them on tour contributing their fantastic live performances. Between the releases of Magic Chairs and Piramida, the band teamed up with French film director Vincent Moon to shoot “An Island”, a perfect combination of film, music and poetry.
