Artist of the Week on Musikki – Big History

Big History is a six-piece soul/electronic/pop act from New Orleans. The band is formed by Amanda Wuerstlin, Meg Roussel, Blandon Helgason, Bret Bohnet, Cory Schultz and Matt Glynn. They describe their own sound as a cross between Beach House and The XX, which can be confirmed by their first effort “All at Once” available for free download at bighistorymusic.com. The band is releasing a new video for a new single called Wreckage in January and are reportedly planning a tour on the southeast region in 2013. Recently the title track of this EP was featured on Musikki Social Player demo video.
